Managing Partner & CEO
Osama Qadan is the Managing Partner and Founder of Equinox International. Mr. Qadan founded Equinox in 2005. He leads its strategic and business activities interacting with key clients in the region and technology vendors worldwide.
Prior to founding Equinox, Mr. Qadan spent three years at OPNET Technologies (USA), where he served as a Senior Director within the Consulting Services Division. There he led the development and management of several initiatives within the US and the international arenas. Prior to that, Mr. Qadan held the position of Network Development Manager at Astrolink International (USA) and the position of Lead System Engineer in Intelsat (USA).
Mr. Qadan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, USA), and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, USA).

Dr. Fawaz H. Zu’bi
Dr. Zu’bi is the founding and leading member of the Accelerator Technology Holdings management. As a CEO, Dr. Zu’bi brings a wide network of regional and international contacts and strong relations with regional and global ICT companies. Dr. Zu’bi served as the Minister of Information and Communications Technology and Minister of Administrative Development in the Government of Jordan (2000-2004).
He left government in October 2004 to pursue this venture. He served on HM King Abdulla’s Economic Consultative Council, is a member of the Board of the King Abdulla II Fund for Development and a member of the Board of Trustees of Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Jordan.
Mustafa Abdulaziz joins Equinox’s Board of Directors armed with 24 years of experience in the ICT industry with a specialty in multi-national team management and leadership. Mr. Abdulaziz was the CEO & Managing Director of Synergy Professional Services/Global Knowledge Egypt from 2000 till 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Abdulaziz was the Vice President of Information Technology at Merril Lynch & CO in the US. In that capacity, Mr. Abdulaziz was responsible for the design, planning and implementation of the production plant WAN with a working budget of 23M USD.
Mr. Abdulaziz holds a Master Of Computer Science from the US and a Bachelors degree in Communications and Automatic Control from the faculty of Engineering in Alexandria.
John L. Habib
Outside General Counsel & Director of Acquisitions and Alliances
John L. Habib is a member of the Advisory Board of Directors , Secretary, and outside General Counsel for Equinox International, and has practiced law in the M.E.N.A. region since the beginning of his legal career in 1990.
Mr. Habib presently serves as Managing Partner of Qasimi Law Partners MENA, a full service commercial transactions and commercial litigation law firm headquartered in the U.A.E., having representative offices in Washington, D.C. and Houston, Texas. He is a registered Arbitration Panelist for the Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and, in addition to his legal consulting career, has spent over 2 decades within the executive management of manufacturing, distribution and services companies.
Mr. Habib presently is a board member of Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development (www.ADCED.ae), founded in 2006 by special decree of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. In addition, Mr. Habib is a long-time Board of Directors Members of AmCham Abu Dhabi (www.AmChamAbuDhabi.org), a present Board member of AmCham MENA, past Chairman of the Middle East Council of American Chambers of Commerce, as well as a non-voting member of the International Policy Committee of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Habib obtained his law degree from Emory University School of Law located in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Emory International Law Review. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Political Science from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York
Chief Technology Officer
Samer Haqoun is Equinox’s Chief Engineer and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining Equinox, Mr. Haqoun was the Senior Engineer for STS, one of Jordan’s largest systems integrators, in Amman. Mr. Haqoun was responsible for managing pre-sale and project delivery activities for STS throughout the sectors they served in Jordan including banking, government, and telecom services providers.
Mr. Haqoun is a Certified Cisco Internetworking Engineer (CCIE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan
Alaa Khairy Hassan
HR & Services Manager
Alaa Khairy Hassan is the HR & Services Manager of Equinox. He has joined Equinox in July 2014. Mr. Khairy is responsible for managing the company’s HR, Administration, Services and Employee Legal Relations.
Before joining Equinox, Mr. Khairy worked as HR & Administration Manager for major MNC & Local Organizations like GNA – Mercedes Benz (Automotive), Air Arabia (Aviation), Juhayna Group (FMCG), ENAP Sipetrol (Oil & Gas). At those posts, Mr. Khairy was responsible for managing the HR & Administration functions of the company’s branches located in Egypt & UAE.
Mr. Khairy has more than 20 years of experience in HR, Administration & Legal Affairs.
Mr. Khairy holds a Master’s Degree in Law from Cairo University, a Master’s of Business Administration from The Arab Academy for Banking & Financial Sciences in Cairo & HR Post Graduates Diploma from The American University in Cairo.
Director of Finance
Mohamed El-Seoudie is the Director of Finance of Equinox. He has joined Equinox in 2014 . Mr. El-Seoudie is responsible for managing the company finance , Directed financial management functions including development of monthly/quarterly financial statements, financial forecasts & cash flow & budgets.
Before joining Equinox, Mr. El-Seoudie worked at major companies working in the IT field as a Financial Manager such as Silicon 21 & Almasa IT distribution & MCS. At that post, Mr. El-Seoudie was responsible for managing the financial issues of the company’s branches located in Egypt, and the Gulf region.
Mr. El-Seoudie has more than 23 years of experience in accounting, and finance.
