Osama Qadan is the Managing Partner and Founder of Equinox International. Mr. Qadan founded Equinox in 2005.  He leads its strategic and business activities interacting with key clients in the region and technology vendors worldwide.

Prior to founding Equinox, Mr. Qadan spent three years at OPNET Technologies (USA), where he served as a Senior Director within the Consulting Services Division. There he led the development and management of several initiatives within the US and the international arenas.  Prior to that, Mr. Qadan held the position of Network Development Manager at Astrolink International (USA) and the position of Lead System Engineer in Intelsat (USA).

Mr. Qadan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, USA), and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, USA).

Lee Haynes is Vice President of Delivery and PMO for Equinox. Mr. Haynes has lived and worked full-time in Southern Asia and M.E.N.A. regions since 2005 and has been actively engaged on several business initiatives in the region since 2003.  

Prior to joining Equinox, Mr. Haynes spent 7 years in Europe where he was actively engaged in several business and technical initiatives throughout Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (C.I.S.).  Mr. Haynes has more than 15 years of international experience in project management, business operations, and networking arenas.   

Prior to joining Equinox, Mr. Haynes held a variety of management positions for well known companies as TRW, SAIC, and L-3 Communications.   He holds a Bachelor’s Degrees in Political Science and Russian and Soviet Area Studies from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University in Blacksburg, Virginia and is currently pursuing his MBA.

Samer Haqoun is Equinox's Chief Engineer and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining Equinox, Mr. Haqoun was the Senior Engineer for STS, one of Jordan's largest systems integrators, in Amman. Mr. Haqoun was responsible for managing pre-sale and project delivery activities for STS throughout the sectors they served in Jordan including banking, government, and telecom services providers.

Mr. Haqoun is a Certified Cisco Internetworking Engineer (CCIE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan.

Hazem Sandouka is the General Manager of Equinox Saudi Arabia. He is responsible for managing the business operations of Equinox in the Kingdom and working with Equinox regional corporate for activities there.

 

Prior to joining the Equinox team, Mr. Sandouka worked at Al-Falak Electronics as a Senior CNC Consultant. There, he was responsible for managing multiple implementations of JD Edwards implementations in KSA and for managing technical presale activities on the same platform.  Mr. Sandouka has more than 8 years of regional experience in project management, business operations, and networking arenas.

 

Mr. Sandouka He holds a Master's and Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, in New York.

Talal Thabet is the Chief Marketing Officer for Equinox. Mr. Thabet leads Equinox’s strategic marketing planning and operations as well as Egypt’s training business interacting with key clients and technology vendors.

 

Prior to joining Equinox, Mr. Thabet was the Regional Marketing Director for Global Knowledge, the worldwide leader in IT and business skills training. There he led the regional marketing operations throughout the Middle East and Africa region after the successful acquisition of Synergy Professional Services in 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Thabet spent seven years at Systel, the sole official sales and services distributor of Motorola Radio Networks in Egypt, where he held the position of Marketing Manager and was responsible for the development and management of several marketing initiatives to promote Motorola wireless solutions ranging from short range business radios to country-wide TETRA solutions for both public and private networks.

 

Mr. Thabet holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with focus on Management Information Systems and Software Engineering from Sadat Academy for Management Science.

Ahmed Hafez is the Sales Manager for Equinox Egypt. Mr. Hafez leads Equinox’s sales and business development activities in Egypt working with the complete products and service portfolio of Equinox. 

 

Prior to joining Equinox, Mr. Hafez was the Sector Sales Manager at Systems Engineering Of Egypt (SEE). There he led the sector activities for SEE in a number of strategic accounts including MCIT, MSAD, MOF, MOI, MOD, MOFA and Aviation. Prior to that, Mr. Hafez spent seven years at Orascom Technology Systems (OTS), where he held the position of Account Sales Manager for Nortel Networks, Avaya Communications Voice, Data Products and Systems integration for the public sector in Egypt.

 

Mr. Hafez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Ain Shams University, Faculty Of Commerce.
