Osama Qadan is Managing Partner and Founder of Equinox International. Mr. Qadan founded Equinox in 2005.  He leads its strategic and business activities interacting with key clients in the region and technology vendors worldwide.

Prior to founding Equinox, Mr. Qadan spent three years at OPNET Technologies (USA), where he served as a Senior Director within the Consulting Services Division. There he led the development and management of several initiatives within the US and the international arenas.  Prior to that, Mr. Qadan held the position of Network Development Manager at Astrolink International (USA) and the position of Lead System Engineer in Intelsat (USA).

Mr. Qadan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, USA), and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, USA).

Dr. Zu'bi is the founding and leading member of the Accelerator Technology Holdings management. As a CEO, Dr. Zu'bi brings a wide network of regional and international contacts and strong relations with regional and global ICT companies.  Dr. Zu'bi served as the Minister of Information and Communications Technology and Minister of Administrative Development in the Government of Jordan (2000-2004).

 

He left government in October 2004 to pursue this venture.  He served on HM King Abdulla's Economic Consultative Council, is a member of the Board of the King Abdulla II Fund for Development and a member of the Board of Trustees of Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Jordan.

Mustafa Abdulaziz joins Equinox's Board of Directors armed with 24 years of experience in the ICT industry with a specialty in multi-national team management and leadership.  Mr. Abdulaziz was the CEO & Managing Director of Synergy Professional Services/Global Knowledge Egypt from 2000 till 2010.  Prior to that, Mr. Abdulaziz was the Vice President of Information Technology at Merril Lynch & CO in the US. In that capacity, Mr. Abdulaziz was responsible for the design, planning and implementation of the production plant WAN with a working budget of 23M USD.   

 

Mr. Abdulaziz holds a Master Of Computer Science from the US and a Bachelors degree in Communications and Automatic Control from the faculty of Engineering in Alexandria.

John L. Habib is an Advisory Board of Directors member, Secretary, and outside General Counsel for Equinox International.  Mr. Habib has practiced law in the M.E.N.A. region since the beginning of his legal career in 1990 and has advised clients specifically on U.A.E.'s legal and strategic business issues since 2000. 

In addition to his legal consulting career, Mr. Habib has spent over a decade within the executive management of private manufacturing and distribution companies.  Among other positions he holds, Mr. Habib is a board member of Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development (ADCED) -  chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. In addition, Mr. Habib is the President of the American Chamber of Commerce (Abu Dhabi), the Chairman of the Middle East Council of American Chambers of Commerce, a member of the International Policy Committee of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and a registered Arbitration Panelist for the Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mr. Habib obtained his law degree from Emory University School of Law located in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Emory International Law Review.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Political Science from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York.  

 

Mohammed Al-Kharouf is the Managing Director of AlKam Corporation, Equinox's joint venture partner in Saudi Arabia.  Prior to that, Mr. Al-Kharouf was the Director of Human Resources at the Falak Corporation in Saudi Arabia. In that capacity, Mr. Al-Kharouf was managing the workforce outsourcing projects for large organizations including Saudi ARAMCO, SABIC and other leading  educational institutions like KFUPM and Jubail Industial College.  He was also responsible for overseeing Personnel Affairs and continuously bringing improvements to human resources activities within the organization.  

 

Mr. Al-Kharouf has more than 10 years of experience in project management, business development, and corporate mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Al-Kharouf holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana USA.
